Work Examples

Logixboard

The Connected Experience

Case Study

Problem:

  • Logixboard's platform allowed users to track and manage the full supply chain lifecycle but there was not a simple way to connect the disparate pieces into a cohesive journey. If there was a consistent way to visualize this experience throughout the product it would provide a clear picture for the user, create consistency and avoid building one-off solutions.

Highlights:

  • Created the connected object tile - a single UI component that could display data for any object in the platform and was flexible enough to be used throughout the product, creating a consistent, unified experience.

  • Redesigned the ‘Timeline’ on all detail pages to integrate the connected object tile and give users visibility into the full journey of their goods.

  • The single most requested customer feature was a unified view of all shipments and trucking moves. By extending the Connected Object Tile into a new context rather than building a one-off solution, we shipped the ‘Moves’ explorer in a sprint.

Tariff Lookup

Case Study

Problem:

  • In 2025, constant change in tariff policy sent shippers into a frenzy trying to understand how much it would cost them to import goods. They quickly needed a trusted tool that would give them the fees, duties and exemptions related to their goods and the country they were importing from.

Highlights:

  • Partnered closely with engineering and PM to have an MVP out to our customers within one sprint. Evolved this feature rapidly as we got a better understanding of the dataset and added more configurations that would provide better estimates of costs.

  • Developed the country comparison feature which became a key differentiator from other tools in the market.

  • Quickly providing a tool for our customers and in turn, their customers made us a stronger partner, not just a service and brought a sense of control to their supply chain at a tumultuous time.

Shipwell

Freight Invoice Settlements

Case Study

Problem:

  • Carriers did not have a way to submit invoices to shippers once a shipment was delivered. Every shipper has a different process for reviewing and reconciling these invoices. Shippers and carriers need a way to resolve disputes without resulting to phone calls or long email threads.

Highlights:

  • Conducted a week-long design sprint with members of engineering, design, sales, CS and customers to expedite the design process and focus the design vision.

  • Executed a design that was developed into an MVP and released to customers but was able to scale as we iterated and added in enhanced features for more complex workflows.

  • There was rapid adoption of the feature resulting in a 35% monthly growth rate and current metrics show 4000 invoices/week being processed.

Supplier Portal

Case Study

Problem:

  • Customers do not have a way to collaborate with their vendors in the platform. That lack of visibility into the status of PO’s creates blind spots in the lifecycle of an order. Both parties end up being reactive to issues rather than managing by exception and proactively resolving issues ahead of time.

Highlights:

  • Created multiple iterations of a prototype to simulate the interaction between both parties. Presented this prototype to customers, engineering and internal stakeholders to gain feedback.

  • Narrowed in on an MVP design that would allow our engineering team to meet a customer deadline as well as meet the customers functional requirements.

  • Aligned my designs with the product roadmap in order to allow the feature to scale from the MVP into a more advanced feature without rearchitecting the existing UI.
